TO GOD BE THE GLORY
Welcome to the "sewing" segment!

Living among relatives who love to sew, I also acquired the passion. I learned the basics of sewing at 5th grade, Edukasyong Pangtahanan at Pangkabuhayan or EPP. This was not my interest yet at that time. My skills were refreshed at 7th grade, Technology and Livelihood Education or TLE. By that time, I was inspired to sew simple things like tears, holes, and attaching buttons. On my 11th grade, I tried to upcycle a top but I never used it. On my second year of college and mainly because of the free time brought by the pandemic, I tried sewing again. I resized and upcycled my grandmother's sleeping gowns. After that, I explored sewing books and eventually made my first top from scratch!

Without further adieu, here are some of my works!

Enjoy!

~vintage kimono cut~
This is the first top I ever made from scratch (or fabric). I used a kimono cut pattern because it used minimal fabric. It was my first time working with lace too and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. These are all handstitched because I was too lazy to set up the sewing machine XD.
